This class is based on the award-winning book Parenting Children with Health Issues: Essential Tools, Tips and Tactics for Raising Kids with Chronic Illness, Medical Conditions and Special Healthcare Needs by Foster Cline MD and Lisa Greene.
Foster W. Cline, M.D. is a child psychiatrist and co-founder of Love and Logic, a popular parenting program. Lisa C. Greene is a parent educator and the mother of two children with cystic fibrosis. They have teamed up to adapt Love and Logic's powerful- yet simple- parenting tools to the challenges of raising kids with special healthcare needs.

Offered only once a year, this class is for parents who are raising a child with any kind of special needs including medical or developmental. This class is convenient for parents because it is by telephone – saving time involved in transportation, childcare and the costs of a classroom setting.
